I’m drawn to mountains, open skies, changing light, celestial bodies and the textures of the natural world, often bringing together muted earth tones with dusky blues, soft pinks, warm oranges and unexpected flashes of colour.
My landscapes are mostly imagined rather than tied to a specific place, but they are rooted in memories and emotions. I’m less interested in accurately depicting a location and more interested in capturing the feeling of being immersed in it.
I’m Katie, an artist, illustrator, and all-around creative person, making art across Bristol, Bath and the South West.
I love working in mixed media to create expressive works that make the world a prettier place. Nature has always captivated me, especially mountains, natural cycles and birds, which often find their way into my work.
My work explores themes like psychology, folklore, nature, and conservation, with a hint of the surreal.
I love working with independent businesses and clients to bring their creative vision to the real world, whether it’s a shopfront window mural or a hand-painted commission.
I’d love to chat about your ideas…
